My Design Work
Web Design
I’ve designed hundreds of websites over the past 26 years. My first website was back in 1997 for Nacht & Lewis Architects and it was the first website they had. I was involved in Health Net Federal Services (HNFS) external website as well as the development of a brand new intranet for the company. I was also co-developer on the design and UI/UX for a NEW one-of-a-kind WordPress plugin called EBG. Most recently I redesigned the BASX Solutions website including custom CSS and user interface.
Multimedia
I have had the pleasure of working on several in-house multimedia projects for my previous employer. They were utilized as training tools, online databases and even client based user interfaces. Below are just the highlights.
EVE
The Enrollment Virtual Environment was a self led, automated internal training system for HNFS Customer Services Representatives. It was programmed using Dreamweaver & Flash. It won a first place MARCOM Platinum Award for Web Based Training.
Toon Ups
This interactive application was built to streamline the internal training process for customer service representatives, allowing them to train and review material at their pace and on their schedule. Programmed using customized animation, flash and html.
Navigator – All in One
The All in One Navigator was a 500+ page printed document utilized within the company for programs and procedural information. Navigator was created as the online electronic version created in an way that was easy to navigate and allowed easy updates to critical information for all of HNFS employees.
OLARS
Online Authorization and Referral Submission Tool for TRICARE. An online application and training tool developed using, Flash, Dreamweaver & Captivate. The project was a contractual requirement and the government client was VERY satisfied.
Bird Lovers Network – Joomla Community Builder Website
Bird Lovers Network was designed as a complete online community for companion bird owners. This project was created using Joomla Community Builder as was my first project utilizing this development software. The project included dozens of content pages, resources, as well as several common pet parrot species. It was integrated with an Amazon Affiliate page and forum. Users were given membership access where they could post pictures of their FIDS (Feathered Kids!) and communicate with other parrot lovers! This was like the “Facebook” of bird owners!!!
Baby Sprout Naturals – Web based Retail Business
Baby Sprout Naturals was an online retailer of natural, non-toxic baby products. This site was originally developed and maintained using Volusion Marketplace and then was converted over to a WordPress Marketplace website. The design was created using our customizable WP plugins designed by our company Red Zebra Media, Inc..

Print Work
Projects included conference displays, table top displays, brochures, flyers, email announcements, posters, forms, newsletters, awards, business cards, certificates and maps. Software utilized included Photoshop, InDesign, Freehand, Illustrator, and Microsoft Word.
