Welcome to our organization to help families with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).

Epidermolysis bullosa (EB) is a rare genetic disease characterized by the presence of extremely fragile skin and recurrent blister formation, resulting from minor mechanical friction or trauma. This condition is not contagious.

An estimated 1 out of every 50,000 live births are affected with some type of EB. The disorder occurs in every racial and ethnic group throughout the world and affects both sexes equally.

There currently is no cure. Only treatment for EB which requires keeping the skin bandaged so as to protect it from daily activity. The skin of an EB baby is like the delicate wings of a butterfly. But many healthcare organization do not cover the extremely high cost of bandages for these children. We need to do something about this. Please help us in our cause to provide bandages for babies!
